Our Story
Barnard Countertops was founded in 2009 by longtime friends and stone-industry veterans Mark Barnard and Elena Ruiz, who saw a need for a countertop company that combined big-city material selection with small-town customer care. After years of working for larger fabricators in Austin, the two decided to open their own shop right in Round Rock, focused on quality workmanship, honest pricing, and treating every project — big or small — like it matters.
What began with a single showroom and a handful of employees has since grown into a full-service countertop design, fabrication, and installation company serving Round Rock, Austin, Georgetown, Cedar Park, and the surrounding Central Texas communities.
